A requirement for heritage windows does not mean that you have to pass on energy efficiency. LAROS can offer timber windows without aluminium cladding on the outside to satisfy heritage requirements. However we recommend against timber windows without aluminium cladding as the Australian climate is very harsh and the maintenance requirements for timber-only windows can be high.

We are able to supply timber windows with aluminium cladding that has a fake timber look. Some heritage council requirements can be satisfied by that.

Adding colonial bars is also part of the heritage look. Our colonial bars are not just stuck on the outside. We usually deliver colonial bars on the outside, the inside and in the cavities between the glass. This gives the bars a very nice look.
