Decentralised Ventilation
Decentralised Ventilation is a retrofit friendly, and scalable approach to ERV. Smaller, through wall units, allow for all the same benefits of ERV, without the need to run large ducting systems throughout the house. We import, supply, and support the Lunos range of products, tailored for the Australian market.
Benefits of Decentralised Ventilation
Retrofit
Decentralised Ventilation opens up the possibility of whole house HRV/ERV to existing homes. Without the need for ducting throughout the house, there is minimal intrusion during installation.
Units are self contained and can generally be installed on any external wall.
Scalable Designs
These smaller systems allow for room-by-room scaling. Starting with problem rooms, you can scale towards the whole house in stages.
It also allows for targeting specific areas and issues as required.
Extraction Only Solutions
Some jobs just require a steady supply of fresh air, and don’t require full heat recovery. Where extraction only is needed, Lunos can still provide options which minimise the energy loss of extraction, but still provide effective results.
This also opens up options of swapping to HRV later down the track when possible.
Product Range
LUNOS e2-60
A push-pull style ERV system, the e2-60 is designed to operate in pairs. With one unit ‘breathing in’ fresh, drier air from outside, the other unit is ‘breathing out’ all the excess moisture and stale air. They alternate their direction to achieve a heat recovery efficiency of ~90%. The push-pull style is best suited for bedrooms, studies or smaller rooms, where higher airflow isn’t required. The paired operation allows for fresh air to pass throughout the house rather than isolated to one room.
- Up to 90% heat recovery
- Airflow of up to 60m3/h
- Decentralised – easy installation for new or existing buildings
- Clean air. Standard G3 filters (with the option to increase to F7 or Pollen) for bacteria filtration.
- Intelligent automatic sensing of humidity and temperature as standard (CO₂ sensor optional)
- Run up to 8 units (4 pairs) on a single, synchronised controller
- Quiet operation
While paired operation is the best option, allowing for a balanced system of intake/exhaust, they can operate by themselves for single room use where installation road blocks prevent pairing the systems.
LUNOS Nexxt
The Nexxt generation in decentralised recovery ventilation. The Nexxt operates with a cross flow heat exchanger, rather than through the push-pull style of the e2-60. This is the same technology commonly used in centralised ventilation systems, without the need for invasive ducting throughout the house. There is a constant flow of air in both directions through the unit, allowing for more airflow, and quieter operation at higher fan speeds. The Nexxt is ideal for master bedrooms, living areas, and other larger rooms where higher airflow is required.
- High heat recovery efficiency up to 96%
- Airflow of up to 100m3/h
- Whisper quiet operation: well below 20dB for settings of up to 30m3/h
- Clean air. Standard F7 filters (with the option to increase to F9) for bacteria filtration
- USB port for firmware updates, and addition of wireless sensors, motion detectors & switches
- Intelligent automatic sensing of humidity and temperature as standard (CO₂ sensor optional)
- Input port for addition of external switching
- Adaptability for dual room operation (employing flat-duct accessories)
- Designed for high-performance Passive House buildings (fully air-sealed & insulated)
- Automatic or manual close-off damper
- Suitable for retrofits
LUNOS Silvento
The LUNOS Silvento Smart Humidity Control Extraction Fan is suitable for installation in wet areas such as bathrooms and laundries. The unit will automatically sense when the humidity levels increase and ramp up airflow automatically. The Silvento merely sips on 6W of power (much less than an LED downlight) when operating so you won’t notice an impact on your bills. The Silvento is designed to run at lower levels of airflow, for longer periods of time. This ensures proper drying of spaces, while not forcing a huge exchange of air with outside, which would result in a loss of heating or cooling from inside to outside.
The silvento can run at low levels 24/7 without impacting heating or cooling loads, ensuring a dry internal space with little to no impact on power bills.
The LUNOS Silvento header box fan is the next-gen ventilation & moisture management solution. Ideal for bathrooms, laundries and other areas that require improved moisture control or ventilation.
- Whisper quiet operation from 20-35dB
- Demand driven airflow of up to 100m3/h
- Maximum energy efficiency operating at 5-11 Watts
- Automatic regulation of humidity and temperature (FK model only)
- Stylish Design
Controllers
Smart Comfort

The Smart Comfort Controller is our go to controller for all Lunos Systems. It allows for intuitive control of the systems. Simply set airflow levels, intensive ventilation, night time levels, or leave control in the hands of the intelligent automatic humidity control.
While primarily used for the E2-60 fans, they can also be used with the Nexxt systems to allow for easier control when the Nexxt is placed in an area with an inaccessible front screen.
Standard Switch

The Standard Controller allows for simple up/down adjustment of airflow, while maintaining the option for intelligent automatic humidity control. Even with this basic controller, the summer ventilation mode can be set to bypass the heat exchange when outside temperatures are more ideal than internal temperatures (summer nights).
Primarily used with E2-60 Mono systems, they are also suitable for use in conjunction with Nexxt systems, when wanting to adjust the fan speed from one location where the Nexxt isn’t accessible, or on multiple Nexxt units simultaneously.
Nexxt Built-In

The Nexxt features it’s own control screen integrated in the device. Allowing for fan speed adjustments, mode changes, and feedback regarding the current status of the system. The Nexxt also features an intelligent automatic humidity mode, ensuring the system is working to its best capacity to reduce internal moisture levels.
For use with external controls or BMS systems, the built-in front control screen can be replaced with a blank screen to avoid counteracting the backend control schemes set in place. This makes the Nexxt well suited for institutional applications where everyday users do not need to interact with the units themselves.
0-10v

All Lunos systems have the ability to be controlled through 0-10v inputs out of the box, from either other Lunos devices, or from 3rd party controllers.
